Ok Ok Ok...I know I know, SLAP the wrist....it has been 10 days since my last blog...but in my defense...well i've just been lazy and distracted!

As soon as we got back from Monterey, I went back to work and WHAM! I haven't stopped SINCE! I'm actually going to be working some OT this week to catch up! Absolute insanity. I have spreadsheets coming out of my ears and have dreams about completing tasks at work...sad i realize but i love it.

Sean's been gone since Saturday doing his carrier qualifications. He gets back tonight! i'm so excited! I can't wait! While he was gone...I bought a new piece of furniture! My friend Kaitlin bought a hutch at an antique store (with a little encouragement from me...) and then brought it home and it just didn't feel right to her. So last weekend when we were all over at her house Sean said he really liked it, so while he was gone i bought it from her...I LOVE it! I think it looks great in my kitchen! I want to stain it or paint it or something to make it match the rest of the wood in our kitchen and dining room. Eventually i'll make doors or something to go on the front...maybe glass so you can still see the cute little bar that is hiding under there!

I'm on this crafty kick, i want to make some cloth napkins...just super basic ones to use so that we can stop buying paper napkins and so much papertowels! I think all the stress at work is making me leak ADHD....i feel like i don't stop unless i'm asleep and have even been having trouble falling asleep but no problems getting up in the morning...

Going to clean the house spot-less tonight so it's all nice and clean when Sean gets home! Hopefully i'll have enough time!!

So, I ended up taking the weekend off from blogging....so i have attatched my favorite pictures of the weekend! Ahh...it was such a nice weekend! We got off to a late start on Friday, but made it to Carmel Valley around 7pm and grabbed some burritos in the Carmel Valley Village where our good friends Cindy and Ted live. Came home and had a few glasses of wine. (pic 1)

We all slept late on saturday and woke up to yummy eggs and bacon. Now, you have to understand that while eggs and bacon may SOUND ordinary...NOT in the Walter house! Teddy is a "Top Chef" (hint hint Cindy....) and everything he makes is amazing! The boys took a walk down to the river while us girls (me, cindy and daughter-in-law Brenda) stayed behind sipping coffee and chit-chatting.

We finally got going and headed into Monterey. First stop: Aquarium! You can visit and visit and visit and it will never get boring! They are always updating and adding new exibits. Peyton had a great time and we had some great family time! We let peyton pick out a new toy to get on this trip. So "Mr. Flamingy" was adopted...(pic 2)

Our next stop was the Wharf for lunch! We walked up and down the Wharf before deciding on Corn dogs and popcorn shrimp! Pic 3 is from the harbor at the Wharf, normally the sea lions lay out by the big rocks in the deeper water, but this particular day there were TONS of them on the shore!

We decided to head back to the village bc i started not to feel well, we had family siesta time. Which apparently was much needed bc we fell asleep and slept until 6pm. We went out to dinner with Cindy then stopped at a convenient store for marshmellow, chocolate and graham crackers. When we got home, we got a nice little fire started in their fire pit. Of course IIIIIII was the one that burned myself like a dumb ass on the metel skewer. We put peyton to bed (pic 4) and Sean and I enjoyed some wine by the fire.

Sunday we all got up to make our 11am brunch reservations at Deetjens in Big Sur and the plan was to have the boys float down the river and the girls stayed at the bottom drinking Mojitos...however, when we got to the restaurant and got out of the car it was 55 degrees out and foggy...So we ate and headed back to Carmel Valley. SIDENOTE: Driving on 1 south quite possibly could have been the most terrifying drive i've ever driven...AWESOME View (from what i saw on the pictures later bc i refused to take my eyes off the road) but terrifying!!!

Pic 5 is my two favorite boys playing by the river in Carmel. We decided to have the same events...just closer to home! So Brenda Peyton and I went across the river to pick Mint for Mojitos then Sean and Ted joined us to float down a ways...nice relaxing 30min float.

Got up this morning and went to visit Cindy's horses Sugar and Oscar! Peyton rode Sugar bareback and LOVED it (pic 6) then headed home! We thought we'd be slick and bypass 198/33 and avoid windey rodes...and we ended up adding 45min to the trip bc we got caught in traffic on 46/41...but it's nice to be home. Starting to get estimates on installing our back yard...Sean gets to be home all week and leave saturday instead of leaving tomorrow!

This will be more about a rant than a blog....and my expression in the picture has pretty much been unchanging all day...

i don't like....

- when i have to fix someone else's mistake and it causes me to take twice as long to finish a project.

- when i can't express how i am feeling without bursting into tears....

- when people think it's funny to mess with other people's heads about serious things...

- when i can't react or sound anyother way but aggressive and angry bc i'm tired and frusterated

- when i don't even have the energy to play wii sports with my son...

- when i need to go grocery shopping but have somehow lost all time to make a list...

- when i spend my entire lunch break on the hunt and cannot find what i am looking for...

- when i know i have an awesome weekend ahead of me and i can't even be excited bc this week has just sucked so bad...

-when i am so completely exhausted i can't even keep my eyes open...

....I'm going to bed...and it's only 7pm.....

So today...was a waste! Well not really, it was just a bad day. I can accept that. I don't have many of them, so i guess today was just my day! Peyton was SUPER cranky this morning and he waited until 730 to FINALLY get dressed! A normal morning he'd be dressed at watching cartoons by 715 so when we leave at about 735-740a he just needs to get his shoes on....so then he had a melt down bc i was rushing him.

Get to work early and spill hot tea on myself getting out of the car. Get started on closing out my first contract and literally, everything that could go wrong, did. My numbers were off and it took my boss and I over 3 hours to figure out where it was coming from! So then i had to completely re-do everything when we figured out someone altered truck weights which was throwing off my numbers by a lot! It was SO frusterating!

I thought my day was going to look up with Sean text'd me to tell me he was coming home in between flights! But, then i rememberd that I had decided earlier that we were just going to have leftovers/sandwiches for dinner so i didn't pull anything out of the freezer...fail. We ate leftovers anyway, but i felt bad. I like cooking actual meals when Sean is home...and he does too. He didn't seem to mind too much, but in my head I feel like i let myself down.

My wonderful husband is my photo of the day! Now that his "stache" is in full force...i figured it was time. I feel he vaguely resembles the pringles man...i love him still...however, i am counting down the days until it's gone! T-minus 15!!

Monday...it was a good day. My morning wasn't rushed, got to where i needed to go on time. When i stepped outside my house, it was 80 degrees outside. THAT only got worse from there...yikes! When i LEFT work at 430 it was 105 degrees!!! Look closely at the picture, it has today's date and the time...at 7:05pm it was still 102 degrees!!! Geeeeez!!

So we finally made 4th of July plans!! I'm taking a half day on friday and we're going to drop Bruno off at a nice kennel where he will be able to run and play inside/outside all weekend safely. Then we're heading S on 41 and going to drive thru Paso and hit a few vineyards. Then we're going to take 101 to 1 and head up the coast to Carmel Valley! (pray peyton and I don't barf the whole way!!) We'll probably spend most of Saturday in Monterey at the aquarium, walking along the wharf and playing on the beach! Sunday we'll be spending it with our close family friends the Walters! Pretty excited bc we havent' seen them since the wedding! It will be a nice family get away weekend! Sean leaves a week from tomorrow (the day after we get back from Carmel) to go to the boat for a week...:-( I'll miss him but that just means we're that much closer to having questions about our future as answered as they're going to be!

Today was a very productive day! I went to the grocery store and bought a months worth of lunch stuff so that there will no longer be a need to run thru subway (which is the healthier, yet more expensive option) or anyother drive thru for lunches. I promised Sean I will pack his lunch in the morning so that is one less thing he has to think about in the morning bc he is still working 12-18 hour days 2-4 days a week :-(

Today's picture is of my new ceiling fan! Our friend Greg came over with all his infinite home improvment wisdom and helped installed one in the livingroom and one in our bedroom. Sean is going to do the one in Peyton's room this week bc each one was taking like 45min to an hour each bc of all the wires etc etc!

I made yummy pork loin for dinner as a thank you for installing my $$ saving ceiling fans! I swear if my electic bill doesn't go down next month i'm going to be mad! :-)

So, by mistake i posted that yesterday was 347...when really it was 346 but in my defense i was blogging at midnight and i'd been up since 530am!

Today i would just like to talk about how much i love the boys that live in my house! My son walks around the house saying "WOW! That's a low price" from the Staples commercial....my husband finished mowing/edging the yard, vacuumed the livingroom and FINALLY got the sprinkler system working on the schedule we want it on as to not KILL our yard!!

Today's picture...Bruno, he is developing into a pretty good dog! He's calming down a bit, being more lovey vs jumpy...and if you look closely you can see he is soaking wet! He LOVES water and was hilariously frolocking in the sprinklers in the front yard!

This weekends adventures...i bought a new shelf for the front bathroom and put it together, now we're just waiting for Sean to get motivated to hang it up! Tonight begins our Entourage season 6 marathon. Tomorrow we're going to install ceiling fans in the livingroom and the 3 bedrooms! I'm excited for **HOPEFULLY** a lower electric bill!

I would just like to state that as i am blogging Peyton and Sean are chasing each other around the livingroom in an attempt to fart on each other...i pray that neither one of them poops on themselves...I love my life!

Day 347...

Ahh...Friday! It was a good one too! I FINALLY got caught up at work and am ready to start closing out accounts next week! Nice start to the weekend knowing that i don't have a ridiculous amount of stuff waiting on me when i walk in Monday morning!

Got everything set up and activated with our security system...it's pretty intense...i feel bad for anyone who even attempts to break into Ft. Toth :-)

The night ended by a quick trip thru the drive thru at Jack in the Crack..i mean box. I ate a small mini burger...it did NOT satisfy what i had a taste for. It's nice that i have very little to no taste for fast food anymore! You can just seeeeee the greasy yucko coming out of the bag...ewww makes my tummy turn just looking at it! Back to healthier venues tomorrow! I am excited for the dinners i have planned for next month!

Still trying to make a last an final decision for our 4th of July plans...We're playing with the idea of either Fresno with my aunt or Monterey for some Beach/Aquarium time and visiting with some family friends...I suppose it will end up being a game day decision!

Today's picture is not one i took. It's one i got from a friend. It is from some of the most recent pictures posted on the PNJ website. They are sad and depressing. It really makes me want to cry that they are not fixing the problem quicker. It will get worse before it gets better. I realize that the gulf is not the only place there are beaches and that there are other places to get the same seafood that was pulled from the gulf...but that was our home. That is where our memories are. Hurricanes can be detramental, but buildings and houses can be rebuilt and repaired. The damage this oil will do to the beaches and it's inhabitance is utterly devistating.

The picture of the day today is my security systems when Sean isn't here...Bruno (although he'll probably just annoy the intruder to death...) and ADT which we had set up today. I feel safer in our house AL-ready! It's nice knowing i'll have some extra protection when i don't have my big strong hubster laying next to me. :-)

Bruno had his pre-surgical consultation today. Both testies have decended and he is A-OK for nueterisation. His appointment has been set up for July 8....so little pup pup enjoy the puppy-like energy and aggression while it lasts! As i am blogging, he is TEARING circles around the livingroom...3 more weeks pup, 3 more weeks! While we were there he also got the rest of his vaccines and some heart worm medicine. He is healthy and we have taken the proper measures to keep him that way! I <3>

I will probably be slammed for the rest of the week at work...I start closing out my first set of accounts next week so i am scrambling to get the recently closed field's folders put together. Ugh, yay for harvest! :-)

Zoo day Zoo day today was Zoo day!! We had such a great day!

I got up and ran some mommy errands - went to COS to change my residency on my tuition then off to get my oil change...$65 later....i have NEVER paid $65 for an oil change...however i've never gotten my oil change in CA so idk if it's just bc it's CA or bc i'm an idiot and got ripped off...lol

When i got home the boys were getting up and dressed and we were off to Fresno!! We walked around for 3 hours looking at all the animals! Peyton LOVED it and it was a great bonding experiance for the boys!

Sean and i got to take a little nap before he had to leave for work which was nice although after being outside in the sun all day i'm still pretty tired. I got a good 2 mile walk in with Rachel so i pretty much spend about 80% of my day walking! Hopefully the scale will tell me what i want to hear on Friday....

I didn't have to record RHWNJ tonight since Sean was gone already, so i plan to spend the rest of the evening in a hot bubble bath FINALLY finishing my "Mommywood" Tori Spelling book! T-Minus 4 weeks until important questions are answered!

First and formost i would like to apologise to all my dedicated followers...i am well aware this is supposed to be a daily blog, however there has been something wrong with our internet at home and it has kept me from blogging the past two days! If i could blog on my phone i would!

These last few days have been very lonely ones anyway...Sean has been working SUPER late and i feel like i haven't seen him in weeks!! He actually woke up this morning when my alarm went off looked at me and said "Oh yeah...that's what you look like! I was beginning to forget!".

I am registered for school in the fall though! I am re-taking some classes at PJC (ugh...LAME) that i didn't get very good grades in way back when (mostly bc i felt that passing accounting with an A was more important that getting a good grade in a humanities Art class...BORING). I am also registered to take a government class at the local community college to start working towards my BS in Finance (yes...I have to take government for a Finance degree...i think that's why they call it a BS...) I have been talking to my job about working with/for them next harvest season and they said that they would work with my school schedule during the spring semester so i'll be going full time again in the Spring! HOPEFULLY I'll be able to transfer to Fresno State in the Fall of 2011 or at the very least Spring of 2012 (depending on work...life...you know the drill!)

My Picture of the day...is actually a picture from yesterday. One of the many perks of working for an agricultural company! One of the guys that works here has his own little watermelon patch! He brought a bunch to all the girls in my office! Lemme tell ya! That thing is HUGE and SOLID! I am excited to bust it open this weekend!!

Bruno is growing so quickly...6 months old today! (sorry about the blurry pic, he moved as the picture took!) He's getting smarter and listening more. The current "tricks" he is learning is "Shake" and "easy" (one word to encourage him to calm down)

It's funny how some days start out absolutly miserable and end so nicely. Today was one of those days! When my alarm went off at 545am i wanted to throw my alarm clock across the hall. I got up and weighed myself (just like every monday) and i did NOT like what the scale said...so i pouted for a moment and rather than walking anyway, i went back to bed for another hour.

Off to work we went! As soon as i got to work i was SLAMMED...I also realized I had forgotten my phone on my dresser...I felt naked all day. Pretty much was in a yuck mood for most of the day.

Until I got home. Hubster was about 45min behind me then we set off to Visalia. We stopped at the mall and i spent the rest of my birthday money at New York and Co ($90 worth of clothes for $55!!) then we went to Olive garden for dinner! I had already pre-planned my meal but i was so hungry by the time we got there i had all but given up and decided i was going to eat what i wanted. However, I ended up eating exactly what i had planned and for the first time....ever i think i left Olive garden feeling full but not sick to my stomach! Now the hub and i are off to bed...he'll have late nights the rest of the week so we won't see each other very much... :-(

Today was a day of projects! Which also means it is what i like to call a "Multi-photo" day! I want to share all the things we accomplished today!

Slept in...amazing. Then i got some alone time shopping in a craft shop..dangerous i know, but i was good! I got what i went for and nothing more! Actually i forgot some things! We FINALLY bought a frame for our wedding picture and signiture mat! I also, FINALLY printed some of our wedding pictures and framed them! We hung it up and it looks marv!

Our other accomplishment of the day was spray painting the mantel I bought gold to match the living-room and completing the stencil on the mirror and getting them all set up! I feel like my house is feeling more like a home!

Kabob's for dinner and a nice glass of wine! Ready to start the week!

Whew! Today was fun, with no signs of stopping! Slept in until 9...but layed in bed until 930 when i was forced to get up and make pancakes (healthy blueberry whole wheat pancakes that is...) Then it was off to my Girls day! Met up with Kaitlin for much needed Manicure/Pedicure! So relaxing! Then we went to Ross and i found some really cute "Home Decor" to help make our living room look more "grown up" for SUPER cheap! Then Holly joined us for lunch at chilis...I TRIED to be good....i got a "guiltless chicken sandwich" but followed it up with a double brownie fudge sweet shooter...kinda cancelled out the "guiltless" part....

We all headed to Holly's to have cocktails...yummy skinny girl margaritas! Good convo! We had every intention of watching "Couples retreat" that Kaitlin got out of the Red Box today...however as you can see we are fairly certain that this may be evidence in a murder investigation due to the CLEAR blood splatter on the cover AND on the DVD itself...yeah, EWW!!

Off to the Blok's for another BBQ with friends!

Today was the BUSIEST day by far at work! Man, it is def harvest! Let the field closings begin! I find it strangly entertaning....it's like a puzzle...i can't complete one field until i get all the paperwork from the field managers....yadda yadda nerd talk nerd talk!

Today's picture is of my P-Funk! We went to a BBQ tonight and Ms. Kaitlin brough glow braclets! I think the guys (age ranging in 25-30) were more excited about them than the 4year old she brought them for!! We have found the secret...bring the porable DVD player! He hung out and ate with us, then layed down in a back room and watched scooby-do the rest of the night!

Life gets so crazy sometimes and it's little things like this that remind me that even if we are only warming the other side of the bed for a few days that he still loves me and he doesn't want me to forget.

There have been days where Sean leaves for work at noon and doesn't get home until after 10pm because he had 2, sometimes 3 events! It's gotten a lot better as we're nearing the end of his training. Just a few more short weeks and we find out what Squadron he is attatching too! I'm excited! I can't wait to get involved with the spouses club and start getting to know all the people that will be our support system for the next 2-3years!

Tonight I am home cuddling with my pillows and he is out having a guys night! (No worries, next week is Luau Ladies night with my girlfrineds!) Catching up on my Real House Wives of NJ...it's a sick addiction i know, but i DVR them and watch them in "secret" when sean is out! :-)

Today was the first day that I did ACTUAL work relevant to the position i was hired for! Not as difficult or confusing as they made it seem...i think they were just trying to scare me, or i'm just awesome...i'll let them decide.

I made an attempt to make "Healthy" dirty rice tonight for dinner. It pretty much turned out like rice with a bunch of sauteed veggies and chunks or turkey sausage in it. I wonder if they make ground-turkey sausage bc that would give it a more appropriate consistancy at least....

Successfully got up early and jog/walked for 30 min! I was pretty proud of myself. I plan to do it again tomorrow too! It always sets a great tone for the day!!

I made Pineapple dumpcake for dessert tonight..(hence the picture) it's one of those desserts that you don't feel bad if you eat it for breakfast or you want a 2nd helping...it's fruit...it's HEALTHY!! :-)

So over the past few weeks i have been trying to lose the last 13lbs of baby weight that has hung on for dear life for the last almost 5 years. Trying to get motivated to exercise so that i can eat more than 1200calories a day has presented itself as a challenge. The only time i am able to do anything is at 530am and due to the lack of sleep that has recently occured due to over-socialization THAT has presented itself as an even BIGGER challange!

However, a few weeks ago Sean and i discovered that we enjoy playing tennis! We have been getting together with another couple once a week or so and played doubles tennis! So the picture of the day is of my freshly worn Nike Shocks post 1 hour tennis match with the Dockins! They won 6 to 5.....

June 7th....the day after my 24th birthday....there is currently 364 days left until my 25th birthday. I have decided to create a photo blog to document the last year of the first quarter of a century of my life....With it I plan to include a picture the hopfully will wrap up the gist of my day!


Today was the first monday in a very long time that actually felt like a monday. I couldn't get off work fast enough...When i got home my house was completely clean! My husband got home a few hours before me and did all the dishes, vacuumed and cycled thru 3 loads of laundry! We weren't home bearly at all this weekend and when we were home the LAST thing we wanted to do was be responsible and pick up the house! It was my birthday weekend after all!! It was so wonderful to come home dreading the fact that i knew if nothing else i would have to clean the kitchen before dinner...only to find out it was already done!!

In the picture are the flowers that were a birthday gift from some friends that my husband put in a vase and displayed on the kitchen table! I rewarded his hard work with homemade pan-seared shrimp po'boys for dinner!
